cuttlebug fun ....

another fun class today, so nice to see some new faces ... we all had a great time together and its always great seeing everyone's creativity emerge. I think that is what is so cool about this industry, there really is no right or wrong way ... its about what you like and having fun playing with different things. Kathy had her new cuttlebug machine for everyone to play with. Her card she did today is pictured with the clock on it. She used the cuttlebug machine to emboss the cardstock it looks very cool! it also cut the centre of her frame out!

With Father's Day coming up this weekend we decided to do Father's day cards ... so everyone was organised for the weekend! My first card is also a Father's Day card ... i used Making Memories paper

The second card i taught today was to demostrate some distressing and I used Tim Holtz distressing ink which is totally addictive! i love it.

I also played with the cuttlebug machine and have made a couple of cards to show you some of the different ways you can use it ... obviously the ideas are endless
Our next class will be 11th September 9.30 - 11.30 ... will post some sneek peaks and the theme by the end of this week.

All Revealed

We had our second class on Tuesday which was so much fun. We are getting to meet some wonderful people. It's great to hear everyone's interests, thoughts and general chit chat - over coffee and cake of course!!! Here are the cards we taught this week.....
Check out how cute this stamp is in Chanel's first card! We used Dimensional Magic on this one so it had to go first to make sure it dried by the end of the class.

Just had to do a male card - can't forget the boys.

A simple card but one that can lead to endless possibilities. Change it with Stars or Balloons......it's up to you!

A lot of inking and stamping in this card but the patterned paper just makes it look great.

Our next class will be on Tuesday 28th August as we will be busy cheering the kids on at the Athletics carnival next fortnight. We will be making cards for Father's Day which is just around the corner! Hope to see you there!
